If someone decides that they would like you to come for an interview with their company I have the following suggestions

1) read the job description, understand why you are there
2) look at the web site and understand what the company does
3) get a map and figure out how to get there yourself
4) arrive on time
5) put a real phone number on your resume and keep it switched on

all the above are faults of people we tried to interview for a current position, if nothing else, 1 and 2 PLEASE

Today I learned that it’s tough to offer exceptional customer service when the customer is swearing at you and then hangs up the phone.

Can’t you go and get a job to do something good for your cause ? or is it easier to protest in the streets.   One word comes to mind “slackers”

People keep telling me that I should write on here and tell the world what I think.   Here is what I think,

1) Time to start being a bit more positive about everything and ignore what is in the press and on the news 

2) If you work, work harder

3) If you dont work, go to work or shut up and stop complaining

4) If your job is at risk, ask your boss what else you can do to help, you’ll be safe

what promted these thoughts was the realization that for a long time our company has carried some bloody stupid people, and at the same had others that showed outstanding levels of dedication.
